Fronalpstock – panorama views
⮱The striking observation platform above Brunnen is easily reached by chairlift from car-free Stoos. And sweeping views extend from part of Lake Lucerne as far as the Black Forest.
⮱Glärnisch,Tödi, Uri Rotstock, Pilatus, Weissentsein, the Vosgen and two Mythen – you can’t get a better all-round panorama than this! But in-depth views to Rütli, the Reuss Valley and Lucerne are equally as impressive too.
The summit restaurant and easy walks on the scenic plateau delight the hearts of many – with the attractive descent leading over alpine meadows, past hospitable Alp Laui - where you can stop for a drink - back to Stoos.
Foot-sure hikers also reach the Fronalpstock via the well made and secure (in part fitted with chains) scenic ridge hike from the Klingenstock chairlift.
