⮱The Napoleon Museum on the Arenenberg has yet another attraction. From now on, visitors are able to immerse in the past as a radio play and audio guide invite them on an authentic garden experience. Come along and take a lordly stroll - such as those taken by the council in the era of noble lords.
⮱The patrician garden on the Arenenberg is the only reconstruction of its kind in Switzerland, Austria and southern Germany - and the result of extensive research and design work.
Visitors deciding to pay a visit to the famous Arenenberg premises receive a key to the garden gate in the museum shop, an MP3 player and headphones. A radio play lasting around an hour then accompanies you on a tour through the 300 square-meter gardens, past benches, a fountain, countless fragrant plants and crops. And visitors to the garden not only discover new things about gardens in the Middle Ages, instead leisure and past pastimes too. Time to take a seat with contemporary poetry and music to listen to as you ponder over the past seated on one of the benches with time to enjoy.
